As a Vietnamese, we don't really know when is the best time, and what is the best brand for engine oil. So we almost always seek counsel from the trusty mechanic. We, at MullenLowe Mishra, understand that insight and took that chance to create a program that has tremendously boost Total sales and exposure to both the mechanic circle and the customer. For this project, my job was to define a new, localized, art direction for the brand, and handle all of their social media visuals.

TOTAL MECHANIC PROGRAM

Persuading a normal consumer to change their engine oil has long been an unofficial job of the mechanics. Thus, in order to persuade the target consumer, Total must first gain trust & approval from the mechanic's community.

Mechanics in Vietnam is surprisingly active on social media. Groups of mechanics in different region & specialty are all over the place. We saw this opportunity to fill in the missing link between the brands and the mechanics, by creating an educational/promotional community page on Facebook, so that mechanics can join and share their experience, while receiving benefits directly from Total.

TOTAL TẾT 2020

Tết is the busiest time for Vietnamese, and usually, people can expect to see Moms running around and doing all the work. However, we tend to miss one very simple, yet heartwarming fact regarding Men during Tết.

Surprisingly, Men spends a significant amount of time in Tết... on their bikes. Why? To take their wifes to the market, to take their Moms to buy new decorations, to buy new clothes for their kids, or to bring the traditional Yellow Blossom plant back home.
